<\/p>\nHere\u2019s a spin on a childhood classic that your kids are sure to love! When I was a girl my mum and I used to make little clothespin dolls with yarn and fabric scraps. I simply adored them, they were so cute and so easy to make! Today I\u2019m sharing a tutorial for Fairy and Unicorn Clothespin Dolls, a delightful variation on the traditional peg doll!<\/p>\n
These Fairy and Unicorn Peg Dolls are just as simple to make and quite magical! Everyone will love having a pocket sized fairy and unicorn to take on adventures and play with won\u2019t they?<\/p>\n

1 \u2013 Paint your fairy doll\u2019s hair onto the end of the traditional\u00a0clothespin<\/a>. You can use Model Magic<\/a>\u00a0to make the adorable hair buns. Glue them on, and paint them.\u00a0 Alternatively you could make your fairy\u2019s hair from glued on yarn instead if you prefer.<\/p>\n 2 \u2013 Paint your fairy peg doll\u2019s face and top garments.<\/p>\n 3 \u2013 To make their pretty fairy skirts fold a cupcake liner<\/a> in half and half again to make a quarter circle. Cut a tiny section out of the folded point and open it up to reveal a small cut out circle in the middle. Slide the peg doll into the middle to make a skirt.<\/p>\n 4 \u2013\u00a0Cut a small strip of your glitter tulle fabric<\/a> and glue over the cupcake liner to give a full and decorative skirt to your fairy.<\/p>\n 5 \u2013 To make your fairy wings glue glitter tulle fabric<\/a> onto coloured paper or card. Cut a larger wing shape for the top and a smaller wing shape for the bottom.<\/p>\n 6 \u2013 Glue the wings onto the back of the fairy clothespin doll.<\/p>\n 1 \u2013 It\u2019s easy to use a similar method to make a clothespin unicorn doll too. Start by painting your wooden peg<\/a> a solid colour. White works for unicorns but you could try light blue or pink too.<\/p>\n 2 \u2013 Carefully paint a rainbow mane and tail (or glue on rainbow yarn) and some hooves.<\/p>\n 3 \u2013\u00a0Paint the unicorn\u2019s eyes, rosy cheeks and nose.<\/p>\n 4 \u2013\u00a0Make a tiny horn with model magic<\/a>. Let it dry for half an hour and then glue on top of the clothespin.
