Cut the excess off so you\u2019re just left with the round shape.<\/p>\n<p>2 \u2013 Cut thin strips of red, white and blue cardstock for the pirate\u2019s tops and wider strips of black <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2NGUsbG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">cardstock<\/a> for the pirate\u2019s trousers. (A paper trimmer can be really useful for cutting the strips.) Glue the black strip to the bottom of the wooden circle adding stripes of white and red or blue above to just over half way. Leave at least an inch of space at the top of the circle for the pirate\u2019s beard and face.<\/p>\n<p>3 \u2013 Trim the excess paper off to leave a circle shape.<\/p>\n<p>4 \u2013 To make the pirate\u2019s belt buckle cut a small square from <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2JcyUjX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">gold craft foam<\/a>, cut the inside of the square out and glue it onto the trousers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57451\" src=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Round-Pirate-Craft-5-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"518\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Round-Pirate-Craft-5-8.jpg 690w, https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Round-Pirate-Craft-5-8-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Round-Pirate-Craft-5-8-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Round-Pirate-Craft-5-8.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>5 \u2013 Draw a cutlass shape and handle from cut from silver and black cardstock and glue hem together.<\/p>\n<p>6 \u2013 To make the crew\u2019s pirate bandana glue a strip of red <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2NGUsbG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">cardstock<\/a> at the top of the wood circle and trim the excess off. glue two thin strips of red paper at the side to make the tie.<\/p>\n<p>7 \u2013 For the pirate\u2019s earring cut a small oval from <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2JcyUjX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">gold craft foam<\/a>, remove the centre and glue the ring onto the side of the pirate\u2019s head.
