I\u2019m too worried about\u00a0the\u00a0hot fat\u00a0so\u00a0came up with these Mother\u2019s Day Doughnut Muffins instead. They\u2019re as close to doughnuts as I can get\u00a0with a <strong>jam filled middle and a sugared top<\/strong>.\u00a0Yummy.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2857 aligncenter\" title=\"Mother's Day Doughnut Muffins\" src=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Sugary-Mothers-Day-Love-Muffins-1024x653.jpg\" alt=\"Mother's Day Doughnut Muffins\" width=\"600\" height=\"384\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Sugary-Mothers-Day-Love-Muffins.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I wanted a recipe that would be\u00a0really easy for the children to do themselves in just one bowl.\u00a0Muffins seemed the perfect choice as they don\u2019t require too much careful mixing. I\u00a0wasn\u2019t sure if the jam would stay in the middle\u00a0but\u00a0can\u00a0safely say\u00a0it was really successful and I think the children will manage to follow this recipe easily on their own. I\u2019ll supervise them with the hot oven but the rest they\u2019ll be able to do themselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">They\u2019ve already made their decorative cake toppers which I pinched for the photo. Super easy, super tasty, perfect for all those super Mummies and Grandmas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Mothers-Day-Love-Muffins.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2856\" title=\"Mother's Day Doughnut Muffins\" src=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Mothers-Day-Love-Muffins-1024x754.jpg\" alt=\"Mother's Day Doughnut Muffins - filled with jam and topped with sugar.\" width=\"614\" height=\"452\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/kidscraftroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Mothers-Day-Love-Muffins.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #28d0d7;\">How To Make Doughnut Muffins<\/span><\/h2>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #28d0d7;\"><strong>Ingredients<br>\n(Makes 12 Large Muffins)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>150g melted butter<\/li>\n<li>250ml milk<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>200g\u00a0caster sugar<\/li>\n<li>375g\u00a0self raising flour<\/li>\n<li>12 teaspoons of jam<\/li>\n<li>knob or butter (for the topping)<\/li>\n<li>few teaspoons of sugar (for the topping)<\/li>\n<li>12 large muffin cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #28d0d7;\">How To Make Easy Doughnut Muffins<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>1 \u2013 Preheat the oven 180C.<\/p>\n<p>2 \u2013 Put your melted butter, milk, eggs and sugar into a large bowl and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>3 \u2013 Stir in the flour. to make a very thick batter.
