How Does This dandelion Craft Help Develop My Child\u2019s Scissor Skills?<\/h2>\n

Cutting practice helps kids to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration.<\/p>\n

This cute spring craft project has fluffy yellow dandelion flowers growing through long textured grass. Both of which gives kids lots of opportunity to practice cutting with scissors.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s really lovely is that there are no tricky lines to cut along, so kids can focus on just snipping randomly and the results will always look fabulous.<\/p>\n

I know lots of gardeners aren\u2019t keen on having dandelions in their garden and think of them as weeds.\u00a0 I\u2019m in a different camp though and actually think they\u2019re really pretty! After all, a weed is only a plant that we feel doesn\u2019t belong in our flower bed!<\/p>\n

I love a lawn full of dandelions and daisies and my kids do too! When my oldest son was very small he used to call dandelions Roar Flowers, how cute is that?<\/p>\n
