What\u2019s more, this Celebration Earth Day craft is made out of an old paper plate that we\u2019ve taken out of our recycling bin and are re-using.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need to use a paper plate for this Earth Day craft, and could easily re-use an old cereal box or parcel packaging cut into a circle instead. There are so many materials that can be saved from the rubbish and be used for crafting!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Why is it Important to Celebrate Earth Day?<\/h2>\n

Earth Day is such an important reminder of how precious our planet is and how we can all work together to help protect it.<\/p>\n

Personally, I know that I can feel overwhelmed when I hear of climate change, deforestation, loss of natural habitats and ecological disasters etc, and I know that my kids are greatly impacted by these worries too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to feel that we can\u2019t do anything; that one person, one household, one school can\u2019t make a difference! However, every positive action we take to help our planet, however big or small, all helps add up to make a big difference!<\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s really important for our kids, that we celebrate the positive steps that we can take to help protect our planet. It\u2019s very easy to implement small changes in our day to day lives that do have a positive impact.<\/p>\n
