This cute and easy Gingerbread Man Craft has a lovely laced or threaded edge which looks super cute and is a great way for kids to build their fine motor skills this holiday season.<\/p>\n

We liked our paper plate gingerbread man so much that we made him a little friend too, a very cute gingerbread girl! Both of our gingerbread people have lovely 3D paper bows and rosy red cheeks. They\u2019re so adorable!<\/p>\n

This is a great fine motor Christmas craft for kids of all ages. You\u2019ll see from the photos that we laced and threaded all around the outside of our paper plate gingerbread people. We looped our way round on the girl and did a running stitch pattern on the boy. Trying different stitch patterns is a super way to further stretch and develop kids\u2019 sewing skills.<\/p>\n

We threaded our gingerbread man with white yarn, but you could use ribbon, string, fabric strips or anything else that takes your fancy.<\/p>\n
