Home-made play dough is so easy to make<\/strong>. Once you\u2019ve tried it I doubt that you\u2019ll ever buy any again.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

How To Make Rose Scented Valentine Play Dough<\/span><\/h2>\n

Supplies To Make Play Dough<\/span><\/h3>\n

1 cup of flour
\n1\/2 cup salt
\n1 tablespoon of cream of tartar\u00a0
\n1 tablespoon of cooking oil
\n1 cup of recently boiled water
\nA few drops of food colouring
\nA few drops of rose water\u00a0
\nsequins and glitter<\/p>\n

How To Make Valentine Rose Scented Play Dough<\/span><\/h2>\n

  1. In the order listed put all of the ingredients, except the glitter and sequins, into a bowl and mix well to make a smooth thick paste.<\/li>\n
  2. Cook on full power in the microwave for approximately 5 minutes. Stopping and stirring at the end of each minute.<\/li>\n
  3. The dough will gradually thicken until it can be formed into a ball.<\/li>\n
  4. Allow to cool and then knead until smooth and add in any glitter or sequins you\u2019ve chosen to use.<\/li>\n
  5. Store in an airtight container.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (This dough could be cooked in a pan on the hob if you prefer.)<\/p>\n

    I made three separate bowls full; In the first I added lots of red food colouring and finished off with glitter. In the second I omitted the colours and rose water to leave the dough plain then I finished with some sequins, and in the third I just added a couple of drops of red colouring to make a light pink colour.<\/p>\n

    It\u2019s worth experimenting with different additions to the basic play dough mix to suit different times. Here\u2019s a few more ideas of things you could add but I expect you could think of\u00a0lots more:<\/p>\n
