I’m so smitten with this pretty Heart Wreath Craft! The flower petals bend upwards to give a gorgeous 3D effect. It’s such a simple idea and so effective!
This is such a lovely flower craft for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, birthdays or just for fun and it’s really easy to make with the printable template.
The heart wreath template comes in full colour and black and white line art for you to decorate yourself.
The colour version has three different coloured heart wreaths and three different coloured sets of flowers. We had such great fun mixing and matching the colours and created lots of different and beautiful designs.
The wreaths are decorated with pretty 3D flowers and there’s a space in the middle for a heart shaped personalised message. The template comes with 6 messages to choose from or you can write your own.

- Printer Paper
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Sticky Tape
- Glue
- Optional: Colouring pens, pencils etc.
How To Decorate A Heart Shaped Wreath
1 – Download and print your heart wreath template. (Click here to get yours from our shop.)
2 – If you’re using the black and white line art template then colour it it. You could use marker pens, pencils, paint or anything else you fancy.
3 – Cut out the template pieces.
4 – Glue a message heart into the middle of the wreath. Alternatively, you can write your own message in the middle of the wreath instead.
5 – Cut a short length of ribbon and sticky tape it in a loop, to the back of the wreath.
6 – Cut out your chosen flowers and bend the petals upwards to make them 3D.
7 – Put some glue onto the middle of the flowers at the back and stick them around the edge of the heart. Glue on as many flowers as you like.
8 – You can have fun mixing and matching the hearts, flowers and messages to make lots of different wreath designs.
