This REINDEER PUPPET PRINTABLE CRAFT is so fun for little hands at Christmas time. They are really easy to construct and super simple for kids to make them walk along.
Each reindeer puppet has adorably cute wibbly wobbly legs, a bright red Rudolf nose and a simple craft stick handle at the back which you hold to make them move.
The reindeer puppet template comes in both full colour and black and white which children can decorate themselves.
Each reindeer template has both a ready made head and a design your own head. The design your own head comes with cut and paste features or you can draw your own or glue on things like wiggle eyes, a pom pom nose and jingle bells.

- Printer Cardstock
- Jumbo Craft Stick
- Scissors
- Glue
- Sticky Tape
- Pen
- Optional: Colouring Pens, Pom Pom Nose, Wiggle Eyes , Jingle Bells
How To Make A Paper Reindeer Puppet
1 – Download and print the Reindeer Puppet Printable Craft Template onto cardstock.
2 – Choose the ready made face or the design your own face and if you are using the B/W template colour it in.
3 – Carefully cut out the template pieces.
4 – Glue the antlers onto the back of the head and glue the eyes and nose onto the face. You can draw a smile too if you like.
5 – Glue the jingle bells onto the neck collar. You can use the printed ones or add real ones.
6 – Fold the body piece along the dotted lines. Curl it over to make an arch and glue it together with the folded tab.
7 – Glue the reindeer’s neck onto the body.
8 – Glue the tail onto the back of the reindeer’s body.
9 – To make a handle, sticky tape the jumbo craft stick onto the underside of the body so that it sticks out of the back under the tail.
10 – Zig-zag fold the legs.
11 – Glue a leg onto the bottom of the body at each corner. Make sure the hooves are all pointing forwards.
12 – To make your reindeer walk along hold the craft stick handle and wiggle your wrist from side to side while moving your hand forward.
