Witches Cauldron Halloween Treats Ingredients
- 1 Box Chocolate Ding Dongs
- Green and Purple Sixlets
- Edible Candy Eyes
- 1 C Powdered Sugar
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1/4 tsp Cream of Tarter
- Gel Food Colour – green, red, orange, and yellow.
- 4 Piping Bags With Thin Nozzle
How To Make Witches Cauldron Halloween Treats
1 – In a large bowl make the icing by whisking the egg whites, powdered sugar, vanilla and cream of tarter. Mix until stiff peaks form (about 5 minutes with an electric mixer).(Add more icing sugar if required.)
2 – Split your icing into 4 bowls, and add a few drops of gel food colour into each bowl (one colour per bowl) and mix well. Add the icing into each piping bags.
3 – Now it’s time to transform your Ding Dongs into awesome witches cauldrons! Lay them out and use the red icing to make the lowest flames on the bottom of the Ding Dong.
4 – Pipe orange icing around the red flames.
5 – Repeat the same step with the yellow icing.
6 – To make your flames look more realistic use a tooth pick or skewer to pull the colours together a little, dragging it from the bottom upwards.
7 – To make the potion bubbling in the witches cauldron pipe some green icing on the upper part of the Ding Dongs and stick your green and purple Sixlets into it before it sets.
8 – No witches cauldron would be complete without some eye of frogs! Add some candy eyes to complete the spooky bubbling potion look.
